What's going on at Two Little Kits?
In my most recent FlossTube video, I talked about a few different things, as well as showed off my works-in-progress. One of the things I brought up as a topic of conversation was that I was looking to recruit one or two test stitchers to work on my pattern designs with me.
What is a test stitcher?
A test stitcher is someone who you send a pattern you've designed to, to then create a finished piece of as though they were a customer having purchased the pattern. However, they also make notes on any inconsistencies of a pattern (such as colours in the wrong spot, broken backstitching or symbols not displaying properly as a few examples) and send them along.
All of this happens before a pattern is available for release! And after they've test stitched a piece, [usually] they then take setup finished photographs of their completed stitch to send to the designer to use for their promotional imagery.
It's a win-win! Someone who loves cross-stitching gets to stitch a pattern and a designer who loves designing gets to crank out more designs for people.
So I'd like to introduce to you all my two awesome test stitchers; Bridget & Jess!
Check out their feeds and you might get to see some sneak peeks at upcoming patterns of mine that they're working on. Hopefully [ideally] this will mean I can create more awesome, high-quality patterns for you guys.
Let me know in the comments below what kinds of patterns you would like to see made and available for download. I would love to know!
