So I heard you moved (again)?
Why yes! So earlier this year, we put in an offer on a home in Snoqualmie, WA and managed -despite the market at the moment- to get it! After what felt like forever, we finished the school year for my eldest daughter and have finally moved in.
What's so special about this move, you might ask? You've probably noticed that we tend to move home quite often, much to our attempts not to.
Well, this is our first home we've purchased. We're no longer renting; yes, all those other moves were rentals. But now this is for real: it's ours to call home, to do with what we please, to get comfortable in and enjoy.
Updates?
So the past month I've been [obviously] busy and distracted with our move. But I'm happy to announce it's happened, we're mostly unpacked (just some things left to go and what feels like a laundry list of things to purchase/replace) and I'm looking to get back into the swing of things regarding Two Little Kits!
I'm having to find my footing again though, as I will no longer have my previous help regarding my kids (and hoooboy has the pandemic done a number on their ability to play independently) so I'm definitely going to be easing myself back into things slowly.
What are your near future plans?
Having said that though! I have been talking with my husband getting his thoughts and we've worked out a plan for me to get back into streaming my stitching/designing!
Even better? It will be during a more useful timeslot!
Go follow me on Twitch.tv to be notified of when I go live, but starting next week, I will be streaming on Thursday evenings, beginning at around 8pm PDT for at least 2-3 hours. I can't wait! I've been getting my desk and work area all setup and just the way I like it, and that includes my streaming setup I had back in February.
I also have plans to hold my very first free stitch-along!
I will have more information on when and how and what that will entail in the next fortnight or so but just know; I am SUPER excited about this design. It'll be very beginner-friendly and will lend really well to your own interpretation of the design if you are feeling brave or creative!
So many ideas and designs and plans buzzing around in my head but for now, I'd better leave it at that. Just know that I'm trying to up my game when it comes to video content more and more (also thanks Instagram for the push to video. No pressure or anything). Maybe that'll hint at what else is yet to come 😘
