    Choose how many characters you’d like, pick the holiday style, and upload photos of everyone (and pets!) as your reference.
  2. Share Your Notes
    Want specific details — like hair up, a favourite necklace, or festive lights instead of greenery? Leave me a note at checkout so I can include those little touches.
  3. Sit Back & Relax
    Complete your order securely through my website. I’ll take it from there! (No design review is needed — this keeps costs low and turnaround fast.)
  4. Receive Your Ornament
    Your finished ornament will arrive around Thanksgiving, just in time to hang on your tree for December or wrap up as a meaningful gift.

How many characters can I have on one ornament?
You can include up to 10 characters — people, animals, or a mix of both!
Can I include pets?
Absolutely yes! Dogs, cats, birds, snakes, hamsters — even unusual pets are welcome.
When will I receive my order?
Orders are planned so they arrive before December 1st, meaning you can enjoy your ornament all season long.
How is the ornament finished?
Each ornament is finished in either a 3" or 4" embroidery hoop (depending on the number of characters) and comes with a ribbon so it’s ready to hang.
How much will shipping cost? Where are you located?
I am located in Washington State, USA, so there should not be any tarrifs/de minimis fees added to your order. The final cost of shipping is calculated during checkout.
What if I want a larger, more detailed piece?
I’d love to make that for you! Check out my custom Stitch People portraits for a bigger, more detailed option with more design input from you.

Shipping & Deadlines

To make sure your ornament arrives in plenty of time for Christmas decorating or gifting, orders must be placed by October 1st for guaranteed delivery before December.
Any orders placed after this date can be completed, however they may not arrive before December 1st.

About the Artist

Hi, I’m Kate — the face, hands, and heart behind Two Little Kits! I’ve been creating custom stitched portraits for years, and there’s nothing I love more than turning a family’s unique story into something you can hold, hang, and treasure. Every ornament I make is stitched by hand in my little studio (AKA: a corner of my living room), with attention to the tiny details that make your loved ones who they are.

I started Two Little Kits as a creative outlet, but it’s grown into a way for me to help families capture special moments and traditions — whether that’s a first Christmas together, a new baby, or simply a snapshot of “this is us” right now. Knowing that these pieces are brought out year after year and become part of your holiday memories is one of my favourite parts of what I do.
