Tackling Two Very Different Custom Commissions!
Description:
In this fortnight's episode, I'm celebrating a brand-new finish —the utterly adorable "Quilting Fox"— and officially launching my latest in my "Adulting" series; "Deserving Joy" (beautifully test-stitched by Jessica - thank you!). We are also diving into a mountain of WIPs, from a custom forest-floor embroidery design and a Stitch People family commission to the next FlossyFoxShop 'fantasy house', and a hilarious upcoming pattern design called "AI User" that has been living rent-free in my head.
Of course, it wouldn't be a proper catch-up without a bit of stash and real life. I'm sharing a new order from 123stitch.com (complete with one fabric colour surprise that didn't *quite* go as hoped) and scheming over what a new household 3D printer might mean for Two Little Kits 😈. Along the way, I share a small parenting win with our annual family photos, an impulsive batch of homemade Cheesymite scrolls that I've craved for a few months, and an honest chat about anxiety kicking my butt lately and what I've been doing to find my grounding again.
Some things I would love your feedback on:
- What kinds of 3D-printed stitching accessories or gadgets would you actually be interested in buying?
- Talk me into (or out of!) re-stitching the Minecraft World pattern from scratch. Would you start it over, or just leave it be?
- Help me redeem this olive-green fabric! What design would make this colour truly shine instead of sitting in my stash bin forever?
- Do you keep a dedicated "car project" or travel stitch on the go, or do you prefer to keep all your WIPs safely at home?
Grab your current WIP and a warm drink to settle in for episode no.136!
You should drop a comment to say "hi!", like the video, and subscribe over at YouTube or Spotify if you're not already so you don't miss future FlossTubes. Doing any & all of those things helps me out immensely and it's free for you! I LOVE receiving your feedback and seeing your support 🧡

FlossTube is an online community brimming with creativity and camaraderie, centred around the love for all things needlework. Much like its cousin, YouTube, FlossTube is home to a plethora of channels run by passionate creators, affectionately known as "FlossTubers." These creators produce a wide variety of content, including project updates, tutorials, hauls (showcasing recent purchases), and even vlogs that provide a glimpse into their stitching journeys.
I'm hoping to build on my little community that I've got by expanding more to YouTube and what better way than to show off what I'm working on and boast about my latest finished pieces?
It's neat to be sharing with you all what I'm working on outside of regular social media posts, like the usual over at Instagram. I hope you're enjoying my FlossTubes! Don't forget to help out (for free!) by;
- subscribing to my channel,
- liking my video and
- dropping a comment
over there if you like what you see!
