Description:
I'm celebrating the release of my brand-new, beginner-friendly pattern, "Find Me" — a cheeky design inspired by the game Meccha Chameleon that is set to become the first in a fun little three-part series 🤞 Of course, there's plenty of stitching progress to share too, from staying on track with "Flower Prairie" (even if I'm eyeing off a colour tweak) and making headway on a secret Christmas stitch for my oldest daughter, to inching closer to the finish line on "Museum After Midnight" just in time for the grand finale release.
Naturally, it wouldn't be a proper catch-up without a good old tangent. Alongside a lovely little haul of discontinued fabric and specialty floss, I dive into a candid chat about pattern designing, test stitching, and the rise of AI mockups. I'm a big believer in taking the time to properly stitch what we create rather than churning out endless designs, and I share my thoughts on why real stitches, patience, and transparent quality mean so much to our wonderful maker community.
