Aquarius is the eleventh sign in the Zodiac series—the visionary Water Bearer known for independence, originality, and a deep sense of community. Despite the name and the imagery of pouring water, Aquarius is actually an air sign (weird, I know!), representing the flow of ideas and the sharing of wisdom with the world.

Born between January 20 and February 18, Aquarians are often seen as the rebels and humanitarians of the zodiac. They value their intellectual freedom and are often a few steps ahead of the curve. This design captures that unique spirit with the iconic vessel tilting forward, releasing a steady, flowing stream. The warm, earthy tones of the jug contrast beautifully with the cool blues of the water, all contained within the series’ signature arched frame.

The finished piece fits neatly in a 5"×7" frame when stitched on 14ct Aida and uses a carefully curated palette of DMC colours. Like the rest of the Zodiac series, it is entirely cross-stitch -no backstitch or specialty stitches- making it an enjoyable project for confident beginners and a soothing, methodical stitch for experienced makers.

I wanted this pattern to feel both grounded and fluid, much like the sign itself.
