This fortnight’s FlossTube is a proper mixed bag — in the most satisfying, stitchy way. I’m chatting about the absolute rollercoaster that Instagram has been lately (from a Reel that unexpectedly took off and what's come of it 👀), and how that’s sparked a fun, slightly unhinged-in-the-best-way creative idea for 2026. If you love books and embroidery, you may want to lean in for that part.
I also have a very full finishes parade to share -one of those “how did I even do all this?” moments-alongside a peek at what I’ve been stitching lately and what’s coming up next. There’s a long-awaited update on my next DIY cross-stitch flower pattern, some progress across a few works-in-progress, and a little behind-the-scenes chat about planning ahead for a big stitch-along adventure in 2026. It’s cosy, creative, and slightly chaotic… which feels on brand, honestly.

FlossTube is an online community brimming with creativity and camaraderie, centred around the love for all things needlework. Much like its cousin, YouTube, FlossTube is home to a plethora of channels run by passionate creators, affectionately known as "FlossTubers." These creators produce a wide variety of content, including project updates, tutorials, hauls (showcasing recent purchases), and even vlogs that provide a glimpse into their stitching journeys.
