In this cosy FlossTube catch-up, I'm sharing what I've been stitching, designing, and thinking about over the past fortnight - the kind of update you can pop on while you work on your own project. I chat through two recent finishes (including "Zodiac: Aquarius" and a surprisingly speedy stitch of "The Starry Night"), along with progress on a whole stack of works-in-progress, from stitch-alongs and art-replication patterns to the early days of "Zodiac: Pisces" and my ambitious "HAED 2026 SAL".
I also share some behind-the-scenes updates from Two Little Kits, including several new beginner-friendly blog posts, finally sorting out my ORT displays (with help from my Cricut), and a funny little font mishap.
Add in a few real-life updates, a very opinionated cat making frequent appearances, and plenty of stitchy tangents - and you've got a relaxed, chatty episode made for stitching along with.
Some things I would love your feedback on:
- Should I leave the mat board in or take it out of The Starry Night? I'm genuinely torn and would love your opinion.
- What do you think of my ORT display setup? [Be nice! 😂]
- Before I start stitching my Stitch People demo piece, is there anything you think I should add or tweak in the design?
- Should I unpick the tiny red dragon in "Flower Dragon Meadow" and redo it in yellow… or leave it as-is? Be honest!

FlossTube is an online community brimming with creativity and camaraderie, centred around the love for all things needlework. Much like its cousin, YouTube, FlossTube is home to a plethora of channels run by passionate creators, affectionately known as "FlossTubers." These creators produce a wide variety of content, including project updates, tutorials, hauls (showcasing recent purchases), and even vlogs that provide a glimpse into their stitching journeys.
I'm hoping to build on my little community that I've got by expanding more to YouTube and what better way than to show off what I'm working on and boast about my latest finished pieces?
