Happy new-FlossTube-day! In this episode, I'm sharing my newest cross-stitch pattern release, "Cascadia Edict" — my second Dungeon Crawler Carl -inspired design (with a huge shout-out to the kind stranger who helped me land on the perfect name!). I'm also dipping my toe into a brand-new, AI-free marketplace called 'fybe', showing off a fun haul from The Black Needle Society, and confessing to the fact that I've already getting ready to kick-off Christmas stitching for my girls with a K-Pop Demon Hunter piece and some tiny pixel art I found on Pinterest.
On the stitching front, I've officially been suckered into FlossyFoxShop's Patreon because her August release, "Fall Fantasy House", was simply irresistible — so of course, it's a brand-new WIP! I'm also catching up on "Cat Dragon House", "Quilting Fox", "Flower Prairie", and checking in on the latest parts for "Life at the Cottage" and "Museum After Midnight".
To top it all off, I share a quick personal update about celebrating 24 years with my husband, navigating an indoor-heavy summer hiding from the smoky air, and a link to my latest blog post on balancing routine with stitching time. FlossTube is an online community brimming with creativity and camaraderie, centred around the love for all things needlework. Much like its cousin, YouTube, FlossTube is home to a plethora of channels run by passionate creators, affectionately known as "FlossTubers." These creators produce a wide variety of content, including project updates, tutorials, hauls (showcasing recent purchases), and even vlogs that provide a glimpse into their stitching journeys.
I'm hoping to build on my little community that I've got by expanding more to YouTube and what better way than to show off what I'm working on and boast about my latest finished pieces?
