My latest cross-stitch font 'Juliet' is now available!

Let's get big and bold!

Looking to spruce up your next cross-stitch piece? You also do stitch people portraits and you want to feature the family surname in a new way? Just want to add to your ever growing collection of cross-stitch fonts and love the look of this?

Well good news; ' Juliet ', my newest font, is now available!

After toying around with bigger-than-my-usual lettering for my own stitch people portraits and having people ask me "Where can I buy this font?!", I decided it was high time I ought to turn it into a fully-fledged alphabet.

However, this turned into a much more complicated font than I expected. Making letters that could easily connect with a myriad of other letters while holding their own weight if need be is a lot more complicated than it might seem. It's a fine balancing act that I enjoy the challenge of! But it did mean that ' Juliet' took me longer than I had hoped before it was fully completed.

Then came the task of designing uppercase letters - which in of itself feels like designing a whole alphabet sometimes! As you can see from the pangram I designed, I allowed space for slight embellishment for the uppercase letters. I highly recommend stitching metallic or a highlighted colour in this space!

In the end, I think Juliet looks darling. Sticking to the constraints of cross-stitches while adhering to your own typographical rules can be difficult but I enjoy the challenge. Especially when I get such positive feedback from my customers!

But most of all; I hope you just enjoy stitching with Juliet ❤️
