Often, as adults, we need reminders that it's OK to not be OK. It isn't a character flaw, it doesn't mean you are less-than, and it definitely doesn't make you childish. And what better way to process the thought process, mental tangle or spiralling feelings than working it out with your therapist?
So maybe you need a quiet little reminder to hang up in your favourite 'hiding closet'..? Or even a funny idea to gift to your own therapist? Whatever the reason, this is the pattern you need.
