Description:

This episode is another wonderfully WIP-heavy update as I navigate eight different projects on my hoops. I’m sharing progress on everything from the vibrant Life at the Cottage SAL to a nostalgic return to The Secret Grove, which I picked up after last month’s little drink-spill mishap. I’ve also officially reached part 10 of Extraordinary Birds, which means it’s time for dinosaur-birds!

On the pattern front, my newest design "1900s Baby" is officially out in the world, and I’m giving you a sneak peek at a new font called "Quinn" coming to the shop soon. Between all the stitches, life has been busy—I’m counting down the two short months until StitchCon and even squeezed in a blood donation on the day of recording.

No matter if you are tackling a sprawling full-coverage masterpiece or just adding a few stitches to a small seasonal project, I hope this time together offers you a peaceful escape and a bit of creative spark for your day.

Some things I would love your feedback on:

  1. Are you a fellow 1900s baby? I’d love to hear your thoughts on my newest pattern—does it speak to your sense of humor as much as it does mine?
  2. I’m looking for more female "Q" names for my upcoming cross-stitch fonts. Do you have any favorites or unique suggestions beyond "Quinn"?
  3. I tend to keep the backs of my projects quite neat. Are you a "neat back" perfectionist, or do you let the chaos reign behind the scenes?
  4. With StitchCon only two months away, I have travel on the brain! Are you attending any stitchy conventions or retreats this year?

So, tuck into your favorite stitching spot, pour yourself something delicious, and let's dive into our latest crafty catch-up.

You should drop a comment to say "hi!", like the video, and subscribe over at YouTube or Spotify if you're not already so you don't miss future FlossTubes. Doing any & all of those things helps me out immensely and it's free for you! I LOVE receiving your feedback and seeing your support 🧡

My kids are entertaining themselves and it's a record-a-flosstube weekend, so I should be making a video right now. But all I want to do is curl up and nap 😴 I *did* donate blood this morning, so maybe I deserve it…

FlossTube is an online community brimming with creativity and camaraderie, centred around the love for all things needlework. Much like its cousin, YouTube, FlossTube is home to a plethora of channels run by passionate creators, affectionately known as "FlossTubers." These creators produce a wide variety of content, including project updates, tutorials, hauls (showcasing recent purchases), and even vlogs that provide a glimpse into their stitching journeys.

I'm hoping to build on my little community that I've got by expanding more to YouTube and what better way than to show off what I'm working on and boast about my latest finished pieces?

It's neat to be sharing with you all what I'm working on outside of regular social media posts, like the usual over at Instagram. I hope you're enjoying my FlossTubes! Don't forget to help out (for free!) by;
