A success!
I was nervous, I made mistakes, one of the days I kept dropping the "extra" needle, but I made it! My first stitch-along was a success and has only received positive feedback. Which I wasn't expecting, I'll be honest!
Maybe it's because I wooed everyone with my Australian accent?
In case you missed the live stream of the stitch-along, here's the playlist of it, so you can see what you missed out!
What did you do?
Over 7 days, we set up our hoop by learning how to transfer an embroidery pattern from paper to fabric, we used 6 different embroidery stitches and we learnt how to complete our finished piece by framing it in a hoop.
Curious as to which stitches we learnt? Head over to the Simply Florals shop page to get more information.
Actual feedback from buyers!
The Two Little Kits "Simply Florals" SAL was fantastic! This was my first stitch along and my first full embroidery project. I have cross stitch experience but very little embroidery experience. Kate was great about explaining and demonstrating each type of stitch (most of which were completely new to me!). I would highly recommend any stitch along with Two Little Kits!

It was great to have videos to grasp some difficult (for me) stitches and I'm so glad you went live and saved your videos. It was great to get basics, like how to trace a pattern and how many strands to use.

What is next?
I've been hinting over on my Instagram page what is coming up next but let's just say; grab out your favourite variegated floss for some fun new stitches!
Of course you can always grab any of my cross-stitch patterns in the meantime if you're itching for something to do. A lot of them are PWYW pricing, so there's no excuse!
