List of ideas
Needleminders
Such an underrated tool in a stitcher's arsenal, needleminders can be a lifesaver for knowing where your needle is while you're not actively holding it. Dropping a needle that you're using for a project can quickly become a hazard (trust me - I know from experience!) but with an adorable, funny, inspurational or even plain-looking magnetized "friend" attached to your project, you won't have to worry about stepping or sitting on that sharp needle again!
Beyond its functional brilliance, a needle minder is a thoughtful gift that speaks to the heart of the craft. Choose one that reflects their personality or aligns with the theme of their current project, turning it into a tiny, wearable piece of inspiration. Every time they reach for a needle secured by this charming accessory, they'll be reminded of your considerate gift, weaving joy and sentimentality into each stitch. A needle minder isn't just a tool; it's a companion in the creative journey, making it a perfect and thoughtful gift for any cross-stitch enthusiast.
A word from this artist:
Hey, I'm Zane the creator of GingerstitchAU needle minders. I got into the world of cross stitch about 8 years ago and in the pursuit of all things attached to it I found out about needle minders. Being down in Australia it would have cost an arm and a leg to ship them, so I did the next best thing, made my own. I figured there would definitely been other Aussies wanting minders so I opened an Etsy shop to see if there was any interest in my creations. 5 years later GingerstitchAU is my full time job making and shipping needle minders around the world.
Don't limit yourself to just minding your needle though. Needleminders can also be used in other ways!
Needleminders can also be used to help you park your thread (More on thread parking here) in an ordery fashion, they can be used to hold onto your pattern (I've been known to do this on occasion!) and -if your magnets are strong enough- you can even use them to hold excess fabric out of the way.
There are so many needleminders nowadays that as long as you know what your giftee is a fan of, you really can't go wrong with this as a gift idea.
Apparel
Do you think your giftee would enjoy expressing their love of cross-stitch beyond the hoop (or q-snap!) for the world to know about? Then some apparel cannot go astray! Between t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, handmade necklaces, mugs, bags and much more, you can find a variety of things that any stitcher will enjoy wearing or using right here, on Two Little Kits!
Cross-stitch-themed apparel isn't just clothing; it's a wearable canvas that allows your giftee to showcase their love for the craft with every step. It's a way to wear their art proudly and spark conversations with like-minded creatives. These garments become a form of self-expression, a visual proclamation of their dedication to the stitching world. Beyond aesthetics, cross-stitch-themed apparel serves as a source of inspiration, reminding them of the joy and creativity that stitching brings, even when they're away from their crafting nook. Gift them more than just clothing; gift them a piece of wearable art that celebrates their craft and makes a statement wherever they go.

I have a wide variety of types of cross-stitch patterns to choose from. I'm certain something will peak your fancy!
All of my patterns are designed from things myself or my loved ones like, enjoy or do. You'll find things like Minecraft, Millenial-humour, memes, TV shows, quotes, and even the odd pattern that could be deemed "political".
Something that is important to me is mental health, as well as helping break the stigma behind talking about it. This is in part because of my own mental health journey (as talking about it -even with strangers on the internet- helps a lot) but also because I don't feel it should be thought that someone is weak for being honest and raw with what they're thinking and feeling.
Hence, my "Adulting" cross-stitch patterns came to fruition.
Want a cross-stitch pattern -or two- that are crafty related? I have those, too! Check out a few of these above, as a safe option for any cross-stitcher alike. You could easily print these out and make a little booklet as an easy, last-minute gift idea.
