A New Cross-Stitch Calculator, Stitched & Designed WIPs, and A Strange Question
Description:
This episode is packed with major milestones and a cozy look at my hoops. I've poured my stitching time into the Museum After Midnight stitch-along, and the frame —including the crisp backstitching— is officially ready for part one! I'm also making serious headway on Ancient Tales, which is agonizingly close to the finish line with only the white left to go.
Beyond the fabric, a project years in the making is finally live: a brand-new, custom cross-stitch calculator on my website! To celebrate, I'm taking you behind the scenes of my design process where I've been drafting three new fonts and sketching future patterns, including a D&D-inspired piece ("Crying is a Free Action") and a cheeky sampler ("I hope you have the day you deserve"). We're also diving into two new blog posts, a fun enamel pin haul, and a head-scratching question I received about why I love stitching other designers' work.

FlossTube is an online community brimming with creativity and camaraderie, centred around the love for all things needlework. Much like its cousin, YouTube, FlossTube is home to a plethora of channels run by passionate creators, affectionately known as "FlossTubers." These creators produce a wide variety of content, including project updates, tutorials, hauls (showcasing recent purchases), and even vlogs that provide a glimpse into their stitching journeys.
I'm hoping to build on my little community that I've got by expanding more to YouTube and what better way than to show off what I'm working on and boast about my latest finished pieces?
