Welcome back to the channel! It has been a busy couple of weeks on the stitching front, filled with a lovely mix of finishes, progress, and the inevitable "frogging" session. I am absolutely thrilled to share a fully finished piece with you today —complete with a beautiful new beechwood hoop— alongside a sneak peek at a brand-new D&D-inspired pattern coming to the shop very soon, and a brand-new design inspired by a certain Doctor Who joke that I couldn't get out of my head as an idea.
Of course, it wouldn't be a true update without a bit of chaos. We are checking in on several works-in-progress, including one where I managed to stitch an entire section in the completely wrong colour (whoops!). We also talk about a new simple pattern in the shop, a giveaway update, and a little tangent about upcoming stitch-alongs that I am incredibly excited for.
Some things I would love your feedback on:
- I'd love to know: should I design some alternative colour options for the new "Indoor Cat" pattern so you can match your own kitty?
- Have you ever stitched a massive chunk of a project in the wrong colour before realising? Tell me I'm not alone in the frog pond this week!

FlossTube is an online community brimming with creativity and camaraderie, centred around the love for all things needlework. Much like its cousin, YouTube, FlossTube is home to a plethora of channels run by passionate creators, affectionately known as "FlossTubers." These creators produce a wide variety of content, including project updates, tutorials, hauls (showcasing recent purchases), and even vlogs that provide a glimpse into their stitching journeys.
I'm hoping to build on my little community that I've got by expanding more to YouTube and what better way than to show off what I'm working on and boast about my latest finished pieces?
